In December 2013, the Costa Fascinosa brought us to Brazil on a transatlantic cruise. We touch at the cities of Recife, Maceió, Salvador de Bahia, Ilhéus and disembark at Rio de Janeiro.

Our first route led us to Corcovado. Where first you climb a 700 m high mountain in a cog railway. The last few meters you then overcome by escalator and suddenly it appears, the giant Christ statue, Cristo Redentor. This moment counts as one of my most awesome travel memories!

We also went to Sugarloaf Mountain, from which we had a fantastic view of Copacabana, where we also took a city tour. I will report in detail about our time in Rio de Janeiro. Until then, her are a few photos:
